OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The operation of the PPSG pure steam generator model is based on the thermal convection principle. Feed water is pumped into the system from the lower part of the evaporation column, entering the DTS exchanger (pipes side) connected to it. A specialized level transmitter ensures a constant level in the evaporation column. The heating fluid, whether industrial steam or heated water, is introduced into the shell side of the DTS exchanger and then routed to the recovery through a steam trap. The heated tube bundle induces a significant convective motion in the water, rapidly bringing it to the evaporation temperature.
The resulting steam is directed to the evaporation chamber, featuring a widened section to reduce ascensional speed and prevent the potential drag of impurities and non-evaporated water particles. The steam then returns to the lower part of the column and back to the tube bundle due to the convective motion. A secondary system for water droplet separation is implemented in the upper part of the column to ensure the production of high-quality pure steam.
The supply of pure steam is controlled by a pneumatic modulating valve activated by a pressure transducer device, allowing for the adjustment of the pure steam output according to the required pressure inside the boiling chamber.
