GDN Tank focuses on both storage tanks and distribution loops. The distribution loop consists of pipes and fittings made of AISI 316 L stainless steel with ASTM 270 ASME BPE mechanical polish finishing to RA 0.6 µm through orbital automatic weldings. It is designed in compliance with FDA-CGMP standards. The piping slope is set at a minimum of 0.5% to ensure complete drainage of the entire system.
To facilitate water circulation and maintain the correct flow rate to usage points, flow balancing orifices are incorporated. Sample ports are placed post-circulation pumps and at the loop return to monitor the quality of pure water. All necessary instruments are provided to ensure optimal performance of the distribution loop in accordance with regulations.
The term “user point” encompasses not only the ZDL valve but also includes all pipes, fittings, and the instrument kit starting from the disengagement point in the ceiling. Upon completion, the purified water (PW) loop undergoes a thorough pickling and passivation process.
